2007 Volkswagen Eos Review
More than any car to have motored through the CNET garage this year, the 2007 Volkswagen Eos elicited enthusiastic interest from fellow motorists. Whether this attention is down to Volkswagen fans being more effusive than someone lusting after, say, a BMW M6, our car’s cheery Eismeer Blue paint, or the simple fact that with the top down people can interrogate you in traffic, the Eos drew praise, especially from the women to whom VW is likely planning to sell it. 2007 Infiniti M35 Sport Review
The 2007 Infiniti M35 Sport is the third M35 that we have reviewed in the last year and a half–but we’re not complaining. And it does it all with amazingly good fuel economy, given the size of this thing and its competition. Read full 2007 Lexus LS 460L Review »
2007 Cadillac Escalade EXT Review
Fifty years from now, cultural historians trying to understand the twilight years of the gas-guzzling SUV will ask themselves a series of questions: What were auto companies thinking when they created enormous cars with enormous engines that were destined for a life of traffic jams? What was the target customer-segment for these beasts of the road that were seemingly designed without the slightest regard for prevailing environmental or geopolitical circumstances? 2007 Nissan Sentra Review
Nissan launched an innovative, reality TV-style ad campaign for the all-new Sentra wherein intrepid young owner Marc Horowitz lives in his car for a week. While we’re not quite ready to encourage that sort of extreme loyalty, we’re hard-pressed to suggest many $20,000 cars that would make doing so as comfortable.
